Training Background:

I received a BS and MA in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from Fresno State. I am certified by AFAA and have 18 years experience teaching group exercise. Currently I am working as a Physical Therapy Aide

 

Philosophy:

Training should incorporate all five components of fitness: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition.

 

Hobby/Interest:

Working out, hiking with my husband, watching my kids play sports, playing cards, gardening, cooking and working on my family's genealogy.

 

Favorite Food:

Anything sweet!

Training Background:

Received my Personal Trainer Certification through ISSA, and my Fitness/Nutrition Certification.

 

Philosophy:

Reaching your fitness goal is like a five part wheel. The five parts include: strength training, cardio vascular endurance, flexibility, nutrition, and supplementation. The wheel can keep moving forward if one or more of those components are taking out, but it will be labored. However, to keep the wheel spinning longer it takes enjoyment. My main philosophy is to make it fun because you can train with all the right techniques and all the other components in that five part wheel, but if it’s not enjoyable and fun its not going to be long lasting. Lifestyle change is always my main goal for every client.

Hobby/Interest:

My job as a Zumba Fitness Instructor is my hobby and interest! I love to dance! I also like to hike and just be outdoors.

 

Favorite Food:

Sushi! If I could I would live off sushi! Any kind.!

Received my a Bachelors of Science in Knesiology through Vanguard University and Personal Trainer Certification through NASM.

 

Philosophy:

I know that health and fitness can be challenging and intimidating. My biggest passion is educating people about misconceptions within the fitness world and showing them ways to change their lifestyle that will help them to feel better, look better, and live better. My role as a Personal Trainer is to work side-by-side with people to help them reach their goals, no matter what they may be!

Hobby/Interest:

 I love hiking, hockey, country music, dogs, and spending time with family.

Any and all types of barbecue!
